It is understandable that a well-planned business dissertation will be better arranged than a business dissertation that was not considered. Thinking seriously how you will argue your business dissertation and creating an outline may only increase the quality of the final paper. All the same, some students find it more useful to plan their dissertations. Those students who are good at producing ideas but consider writing problematic often take advantages of planning. Those who have some problems with generating fresh ideas but find easy writing may profit from beginning to write early. Start writing may be what is necessary to get the new ideas to flow.

You need to find out what works perfect for you, although some planning is a good idea. Consider whether your present practices are working you well. You know that you are planning too little when the first sketch of your paper is a disorganized mess, so you need to spend a great amount of time making reverse sketch and cutting and pasting information. You know that you are planning too much when you find yourself creating your dissertation a day before it is due after weeks conducting research and contriving elaborate plans.

You should be aware of the involvements of planning too much or too little.
Planning gives the following benefit:
- assists you produce an orderly and logical argument that your audience can follow;
- supports with producing an economical assignment by letting you spot repetition;
- helps to produce an exhaustive dissertation by making it much easier for you to see whether you have omitted anything.
